Required Foreign Language
This is commenting on the fact that a foreign language course is required. But why? There isn't really any good purpose for it. I mean, c'mon. I could understand if someone was planning on getting a job in the future in which they would need it, but I think it's safe to say that on the most part, almost everyone won't need the language they study in school, much less remember it. but you not only have to do one year, but two stinkin' years of it. It's pathetic. Some people may like it; let 'em do it, but for those people that aren't going to be translators or foreign ambassadors, let them take classes they'll need, not some useless waste of time. I mean, if they aren't learning anything, and they won't remember what little they do remember, then why force them to do it, considering it has no useful purpose. Oh well. I guess we'll just have to get over it and choke it down for now. chow fer now.
