red vs. blue

it started as the best tv, video, computer game ever...
.
...not really...
.
...but still...
.
Anyways. Red vs. Blue. The makers take screneshots from the Halo video game and dub in voices to make a hilarious computer animated comedy series. It's really funny. Granted it does have some language so be warned, but they do have toned down versions for a broader range of viewers.

This is my drawing of that addictinggames hero: Barbarion Bob. He's the coolest 2D drawn-animation computer game character ever.

the AK-47

Someone the other day asked what an AK-47 was. It's only the coolest oldschool semi- (and fully) automatic assault rifle out there.

((Above)) A picture of each side of an AK-47 assault rifle.

and this... this is a sniping kitten. Isn't he so cute?

i'm tired. can you tell?

ooo, look at the pretty colors... as the dragon breathes lightning and death at the evil ghosty wraith thing... anyways. I liked this picture, so I put it on here.
oh, and this is that one hand gun, you know the M93r (most probably don't know, but anyways). This is that gun all "decked out" so to speak w/ a collapsable stock, silencer, and scope. Looks a little less like a handgun like that, don't it. Cool anyway.
.
Ok, wow, I need sleep. Can you tell? See you tomorrow guys.

ahhhh.. peaches.

We, the seniors (aka Todd, Sarah, and I), took Jason out to lunch today. We were going to take Brandon too, but he couldn't come. We went to Firehouse subs, that was yummy. Then we went over to that mall place and bought a cookie cake. We then proceeded to take it back to the building therewith we partook of the cookie and shared it amongst those who do work at the church.
That's pretty much my day so far. I wanted to see about getting in touch w/ Stephen and making his character for this game, but I only get his voicemail. So I wanted to ask Kenny about it but I would have to go over to his house and I don't like to invite myself to peoples houses. So who knows. I also want to play halo. Maybe I'll think of something to do.

be all you can be

I've had an interesting perspective of our youth group over the years. I have never really been solid part in any of what you may call the loosely organized mini-groups in our yg. Being thus the case, I've hung out with a good majority of the population therein. Because of this, I've been able to see how alot of people think, view other people, and view our youth group as a whole.
For example: I know a couple people who really dislike specific people, yet I'll see them be nice all the same; in one case the person disliked thinks of the other person highly. It's all very bizarre and sometimes stressful, depending on circumstances.
There are down and upsides to being a "bouncer." On the downside, there are times that you can go unnoticed by everyone. On the upside, most times you always have at least one person that you can talk to. Of course, as with any normal average person, there are certain people I like to hang out with maybe just a little more than others; but I have still tried to keep from condoning cliques.
So, in conclusion,... uh... well, I don't know what's the conclusion. I guess I just want to say that I don't want anyone to be left out. Include people. Look for that guy that doesn't have a friend and include him. Break your comfort zone. And to those that are going to be Seniors: Step up and be the leaders; I know you can do it.

~master skipper
by the way: I know I'm not leaving to go to college, but I know it won't really be the same. For all the good times and gooder memeries I thank you. I don't know what the next couple of years will yield for everyone, but God bless you all.

the MT 2 MD

So the mission trip was super duper. just for the fun of it, I'm going to use the little things... I can't remember what they're called. anyways:
  • 18 hr drive
  • Mr. Fender
  • having decorated vans
  • too much taco bell & burger king
  • door knocking
  • having the door slammed in the face too many times
  • having fun anyway
  • 137% humidity
  • looking like a hobo w/ my pillow on my backpack
  • DeCoRaTiNg
  • singing for the elderly
  • rooming w/ krisby, KP, and J-Gadd
  • being late pretty much every morning
  • Peter Passionate Preacher
  • skits, games, crafts, etc
  • King's Dominion
  • fun fun fun
  • Todd's hilarious demon-puppet face & voice
  • hotel @ Bristol
  • room w/ Thodd, J-Love, and Dave
  • Jason's and my wicked cool handshake
  • realllly slow IHOP in the morning
  • poor Brandon getting sick
  • Dad ((Mr. Vippy)) getting to come
  • the Sr. thing
  • shedding tears

overall I had an uplifting time. I was able to see some things in my life that I needed to change and was given the willpower to make those changes. I loved it.

Well, I do alotta stuff with friends so I guess that counts, right? Speaking of doing things with friends and going places and getting out and stuff...
Internet's Back Part 2:
We leave for MT tomorrow @ 5:00ish. Yesss.....! I love our Peter Passionate Preacher song, it's a blast. Anyways, I'm not going to post for the next few days (like, a week) so this is all you're getting for a while. Have fun kids. Pray for us. Be good. Stay cool.

practically an SMG

There it is my friends: the gun I want. That's a M93r, the only 9-mil handgun with built-in 3 round burstfire. It can also be switched to fully automatic; or, if you want, you can just shoot one bullet at a time out of its 21 round mag. Yeah. Nice.

homeward bound

Tomorrow we head back to that sweet place called Madison. See ya there guys.

what to do

Here I am, just sitting at the computer at my cousin's house; bored to death. I could play Halo, but it's not as fun just one on one and I've already beat the campaign too many times, so it's gotten old, and we didn't bring the ethernet cable so I can't hook up to X-Box Live. I could go to the pool and chill there.... except that it's raining. But maybe some swimming in the rain wouldn't be that bad; the water would be a little cold though. Who knows. All I know is that I'm bored. I might just play spider solitare while I decide what to do next.

...maybe I could break out the cd player and listen to music and take a nap... hmm.

Dennis.

There's this hurricane coming in. So... we're going to have to evacuate. Yeah. It's coming. I do believe it's already a catagory 3 and it just might be bigger when it makes landfall; and it's coming straight for the Pensecola/Gulf Breeze area.

Well, I guess I'll see you guys Wednesday.

Who's Line, or Who's Name??

Yesterday was the cookout at my grandparent's house, relatives and all. We ((David and I)) got the jet ski out on the water pretty quick; before most people got there. So we get the tank filled and get her running and David takes off first. Then me. Some other people by that time had gotten in the water wanting to get on it. The first guy actually knew what he was doing and was careful and all that. But then there was a guy by the name of JD (who I'll tell you more about in a separate paragraph). He was one of those guys that you look at and want to be a mile away from him. Well, he was all coming in real fast and coming to close to the people swimming; it took us telling him five times to stop to actually get him to. Well, after a couple people go he ends up back on "so he can let his wife ride." He gets on and after a couple a minutes of her trying to get on and falling off ((it's hard to keep two people on a smaller jet ski)) he just takes off with out her. What a nice guy, huh? When he comes back the first time, he swoops in real close and then jets off. Not safe for the swimmers and certainly not something that makes grandmother happy ((aka: she wanted his butt off)). Then second time he came in he comes within feet of hitting a person and inches from hitting one of the pylons from the old pier. (hitting that would have ended it's life real quick). With that the jet ski got put up for a while. Bummer. But David, Mark (the son of a friend of my grandmother's), and I got on my uncle Ron's deck boat and he cruised us around for a while. That was fun. Later that day we hooked up a float thing to the back of the deck boat and got pulled around. That was a flippin' blast: although it did kinda hurt your back.

As to that paragragh about JD...

JD. What an interesting character. Crude, vulgar, boastful, drunk, and a druggie. Yeah. He was full of interestingly false stories and bad jokes. Full of "good" advise and "life lessons." Full of drugs and alchohol. Full of crap. Yeah. The whole time we were there David, Mark, and I tried our best to avoid him. But the times that confrontation was inevitable: we loved to play with his mind...
Intstance #1: WHO'S NAME. There was one point at which he asked us what our names were. We told him that David was Mark, Mark was David, and I was Donald. He asked a couple of people and they told him what our real names were. Of course we told JD that they were all wrong: David was Mark, Mark was Donald, and I was David. "Mark" and "Donald" ((David and Mark)) were brothers and I was they're cousin. This went on for quite a while until he finally believed us. We had him so confused he didn't know whether he was comin' or goin'. (half thanks to the many beers he had consumed)
Instance #2: PIMP MY RIDE. We had been chillin' under this tarp thing and along comes our good friend. We were all like "yay...... .. ugh." He asked us something, I can't remember what, but either way it ended up with "Donald" (aka Mark) telling JD that he and "Mark" (aka David) were in there twenties, owned a shop, and pimped cars out for a living. The funny thing was: he believed them. Then they told him that I didn't have a job, I just stayed at their house or something and bummed about. They then proceeded to tell JD that they had this nice Catillac with a fold out DVD player for $100 that they had promised me, but that I didn't have the money to buy it from them. JD, then and there, pulled out one hundred dollars and offered it to me. He was like, I'm not against helping out a young guy in need. I didn't take the money (1 'cause it wouldn't really be right, and 2 if he found out he'd probably kill me). But with my not taking the money he drew the conclusion that I was one of those guys that "didn't want to owe up to nobody" for which he congratulated me. Anyways to make a long story short, he believed it all and left thinking that if within a month I didn't buy the Catillac that JD could buy it for $100, that they could pimp out his pickup, and that he could get a cheap Mustang from a "good friend that they had" that "collected Mustangs and souped them up and decked them out."

Wow, this is really long now. Oh well. I guess I'll blog to youins later.

dear, sweet herbert

TODAY: SATURDAY, JULY 3RD 2005...
  1. Church
  2. Halo2
  3. "Decorating" @ papa and nana's
  4. Fishing

So those are the events of the day. Fishing was rather uneventful... except for a couple or two things. I actually caught me a fish. It was a speckled trout. Wasn't very big though, so I sent him back to the deep blue sea... or bay. Anyways. David caught a small speckled guy too; but he also caught himself herbert: a nice sized trout. By the time we got the pliers, got the hook out and got him in the little net-bag thing, well, he had kicked the bucket, gone belly up, stone dead. Oh well, he had to be dead to be eaten anyways. Now to Robert's catches. He certainly caught the most things at four but... he can't catch anything worth eating. The first thing he caught was a bait sized red, or something like that. The next thing he got was an eel; followed by a stingray and then another stingray. So yeah. Maybe tomorrow we'll get to enjoy Herbert. We beheaded and gutted him before we came home. Well, that's it until tomorrow.

it is alive!!

The jet ski's running now! It was fun. Super duper fantabulously fun. Ok, so maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but still. It doesn't run very smooth: it misses a little and lurches, but that's ok. On some of the waves I got some air. Now that was really cool. But yeah.
.
This morning we went out and fished. David was the only one who caught a fish. He caught two speckled trout. Robert caught a good sized crab. I caught a jellyfish... oh well.

launch All Zig for great justice!

David and I launched the SS All Zig today. "What is All Zig?" you may ask. Good question. Most won't know. But you will! Well, it is a flat boat. A nice turquois flat boat with a leak. David and I pulled it out of the rubble behind papa's shed. After doing so we washed it out and checked for holes in the bottom. We found one and put some aluminum tape on it and called it good. We found another in the stern but just decided to ignore it. We then took her out on her re-maiden voyage. We took a bucket just in case. It wasn't completely needed, but All Zig did take on a little water. Oh well.
.
Other than that, we (Dave and I) got a 3 day fishing licence so we could fish off of All Zig. So tomorrow David and I are going fishing. So yeah.
.
We also got in contact with Austin and played some Halo2 with him. That was fun.
.
Well, I'm out for now.

i'm a winner

I have conquered the Rubik's. On our way down to FL it took me half an hour to figure it out; but I succeeded! So far as of yet, my fastest time is 2 and a half minutes. I now can solve, w/o question, a Rubik's cube. I'm the man... well, sometimes.

~master skipper

in the end, does it really matter?

Funny how people will get your hopes up, and let you down...
.
well, it's not really funny, but if it was, I'd be laughing all the time.
