I've had an interesting perspective of our youth group over the years. I have never really been solid part in any of what you may call the loosely organized mini-groups in our yg. Being thus the case, I've hung out with a good majority of the population therein. Because of this, I've been able to see how alot of people think, view other people, and view our youth group as a whole.
For example: I know a couple people who really dislike specific people, yet I'll see them be nice all the same; in one case the person disliked thinks of the other person highly. It's all very bizarre and sometimes stressful, depending on circumstances.
There are down and upsides to being a "bouncer." On the downside, there are times that you can go unnoticed by everyone. On the upside, most times you always have at least one person that you can talk to. Of course, as with any normal average person, there are certain people I like to hang out with maybe just a little more than others; but I have still tried to keep from condoning cliques.
So, in conclusion,... uh... well, I don't know what's the conclusion. I guess I just want to say that I don't want anyone to be left out. Include people. Look for that guy that doesn't have a friend and include him. Break your comfort zone. And to those that are going to be Seniors: Step up and be the leaders; I know you can do it.

by the way: I know I'm not leaving to go to college, but I know it won't really be the same. For all the good times and gooder memeries I thank you. I don't know what the next couple of years will yield for everyone, but God bless you all.

thats really pretty enlightening. Everyone in fact, does have their favorites and that in itself is fine. The thing that gets us in trouble is showing the favoritism and not including those that we might not get along with as well.
