today's vehicle story:

dude! there was this guy today on my way back from school: he didn't know how to drive! well, I guess technically he did. but that's besides the point. I end up beside this guy (a really old black [not that color has to do w/ anything] guy in a Honda Accord) on the exit ramp off of the interstate and onto Wall Triana. He's sitting in the lane next to me on my right. When the light turns green and we start to go, he starts coming across the centerline into my lane!! I'm like losing room fast and I can almost see me being forced to choose to just slam his stupidness into his own lane ('cause I'm driving my parent's monster-of-a-truck) or go head on with the Nissan stopped at the light. Thankfully he didn't continue too much and I had enough space to sqeeze through; that's just what I would need, another wreck and another of my parent's vehicles down. But the thing is, he didn't even want to be in the lane I was in!! When it ended up that I was following him down the stretch of Wall Triana to my house, I realized that this man shouldn't be driving: he apparently thought that your driver's side wheel had to be on the yellow center line at all times. ... moron. That, kids, is why there should be a second driver's test when you get old. And maybe even some reaction and competency checks and tests. It's dangerous, man. Oh well. I'm going to do some reader's notes, an "outline" for the paper that's pretty much already written, and then read, maybe chill doing nothing in particular. Who knows. But then it's school: art appreciation, then comp, and then calculus. And then after school I'm going off to the Mobley's for some video entertainment; provided, of course, that it's not cancelled tonight for one reason or another. Anyways, have fun guys.
