My goldfish, the self-declared Fish King, is practically immoral. Most goldfishes are lucky to live for like, a couple months, and a year is a long time for them, right? Well, Fish King the Magnificent has lived for almost 4 years now. I was given him on my 16th birthday (yes, instead of a car, I got a goldfish... that's my luck). Anyway. He's been hangin' in there for 4 years. His other two comrades died. The first at like, 2 months, the second at around 6 or 7 months. I found him once floating upside down on the top of the water once. I tapped on the tank, though, and he just swam away. I guess he was just chillin' or something. He's the Fish King, so I guess he can do that if he wants.
.
I think I shall dub him Cats, 'cause all your base are belong to him.

haha. that reminds me of a story.
i have (or had..he lives with my aunt now) an itty bitty cat fish. so cute. i bought him at PetSmart in Decatur about 2 or 3 years ago. well, on the way home, i noticed that the poor guy kept running himself into the walls of the plastic bag repeatedly. kinda like he was trying to break out or something. but anyway, after he did that, he'd float to the top and turned over on his back as if he was dead. but if you moved the bag, then BAM! he's up and ready to go. one time i moved the bag though and he didn't flip back over so i was like "aww man! he's dying". so we pulled over and drove down this little path to get to the river. i let him out in this puddle of river water and it was like he was instantly cured. so i filled the platic bag full of river water and put him back in. he's was fine..until we got home. when we got home chris was putting him in the fish tank and his fin got caught on the fish net. there was no way you could get it off either so chris just yanked it off and threw him in the tank. he survived though. about a week later one of chris's algae eating fish went mad and killed every fish in the tank but when he got to sleepy (my cat fish), he musta given up or something 'cause sleepy tore him to pieces. but he did do some pretty serious damage to him first.
talk about an immortal fish..
i just realized how ridiculously long that comment was. i doubt you even read it. sorry..
