listen if you could

evryone put down you weapons
and for goodness sake
please stop fighting
.
And I quote w/ as much seriousness as I can, Anchorman and Monty Python:
"Man, that escalated quickly. I mean, that really got outta hand."
"Let's not bicker and argue about who killed who. This is supposed to be a, happy occasion."
.
And because no source is better than THE Source,
"Love your Neighbor as yourself."
I know it's over-used, but it's the truth.

three weeks + forever

Don't you hate those ppl who make you feel bad for things that you didn't do? Who accuse you of things and condemn you for stuff that either doesn't matter or didn't even happen in the first place? Who are too blind and self-centered to notice that they're doing exactly what they're accusing you of? Who tell you how good they are and how bad you are and try to tell you to live up to their standard? Well, Norma is one of those kindof ppl. Yesterday she stopped Heather & I in the parking lot of Calhoun and started telling her of all the bad things that she [Heather] put the class through (while of course telling how good she was and how loyal a student she was. she must have said she had two jobs and a hearing aid at least 10 times. stupid brownnoser). I, being the idiot I am, didn't say anything. I've never wanted to hurt someone more in my life! I wanted to break the hateful woman's neck for berating Heather the way she was, and I wanted to break my skull on a wall for not standing up for her. ((Heather, I'm sorry I let you down and I'll never let that happen to you again if I'm there! I promise)). As it turns out, when Heather went to the teacher to appologize (which I told her wasn't necessary sense that woman was just full of crap), the teacher said that she [Heather] didn't have anything to do w/ anything at all, and all of what Norma was saying she did didn't actually happen and that some of the stuff that she told Heather, Norma wasn't even supposed to know! Grr. Man. I'm still angry about it.
.
Wow, it's been forever sense I've vented like that. Whew. Deep breaths. In through the nose... and out through the mouth. In through the nose... and out through the mouth. Ok. Done ranting/venting now.
.
mmm. raspberry water

"the board is set. the pieces are moving..."

...I love that line of Gandalf's.
which reminds me I still need to marathon through the extended LOTR movies.
.

It seems that maybe stuff's blowing over and the misunderstandings, misinterpretations, miscalculations, and misnomers (i just needed a couple more "mis-" words...) are starting to get worked out and resolved. And hopefully forgiven and forgotten. I really don't like to be in hostility w/ ppl. Makes life difficulter than need be.
.
.
and sense evryone else is doing it. well, not only 'cause evryone else is doing it but:
Kerry: sorry. I got angry at you for seemingly lashing out at Heather after it seemed that we could be normal friends again. Then one thing led to another and *bing bang boom* evryone was mad/upset at evryone else. And so yeah.
.
.
Heather's probly goin' to kill me for puttin' up this picture, but I think it's cute. I love you, sweetheart. :D

"is class at 8:00 or 8:30? 8:00? wait... 8:30. yes. no. yes, 8:30..."

.
And 'cause the "theme poem" of WOTW is almost kindof fitting in a not-so-much-fitting-but-I-just-want-to-bring-attention-to-the-only-decent-literature-I've-written sortof way; here's Wheels of the World:

The wheels of the world keep spinning.
Sometimes you're caught in the middle,
sometimes you're flung to the edge.
In the midst of the chaos there is order;
when all is lost, too much is found.
Method will be found in madness;
confusion found in pattern.
To comprehend would be incomprehensible;
misunderstanding, understandable.

well looky there

Tired, and I've got some school and paper writing to do tomorrow. Yay fun, but at least there's only... four more days of school including tomorrow. So that's nice at least. I'm going to try to have fun w/ these papers. Might need to request Todd's and Heather's help though; Todd 'cause he's just got a knack for words, and Heather 'cause she's (right now at least) working on an English major.
.
.
Well, sense someone seems to want to keep being a pain and suchforth of the like despite the fact that I'd thought she'd decided to be civil and gotten over evrything and decided to be friendly, life's a little rougher than it would be otherwise. But that excluded, I'm happier than ever... except now I'm sleepy as all getout... however much all getout is.
.
.
drat, my coke is watered down.
.
.
Ok, this post has drifted to random comments and nonsense. goodnight all.
...my fish is staring at me.

4.26.2006

"looks like some kind of large cat..." "like a puma?"

Well, the application for OH!Bryan's is in... so now we wait. The next couple weeks are gonna be crazy. Devin & Holly's wedding, end of school (aka finals and papers), and possible changing of jobs. Whew.
.
I said I was gonna do some shoutin' out, so here's to you two who asked:
.
Todd/Patch/Yagermiester/who knows what all else: your philosophical writings and posed questions never cease to keep my brain going. Your knack for being able to calm (almost) any situation and make a joke of anything is astounding: if evryone was as layed back as you, aliens would think earth was on drugs... er... something.
.
Amanda: we've been friends for like, ever sense i was short w/ the hair and glasses and LEGO and Star Wars obsessed... ah, good times. There was something else I was gonna say, but it slips my mind. oh well, you're cool and you know it.
.
I painted the SW40F yesterday. It looks pretty slick now. It was clear when I purchased it, but w/ the silver and black spray paint I had laying around in my room, that all changed. I removed the slide and painted it silver. The rest I painted black. All it takes is a couple thin coats to make something look good. But yeah. What can you expect of someone who likes spraypaint and guns?
hmm... that reminds me that I need to paint the end of the M92F orange. I accidentally covered most of it w/ black paint while I was painting it... oops.
i'm dumb

4.25.2006

i'm a hamster

So there's been an outcry for my attention. Ahh, the crowds love me... Anyways, due to the begging for acknowledgement (and my unforeseen popularity), I shall oblige my admirers w/ "shout-outs"... but first I must sleep. Then go to work. Then school. Then more school.
.
I also still have that "I am" post on my to-do list.
.
I did finally get the flash guard on my M16 painted so I can legally carry it outside the house. It's only a thin coat and not very even, so it actually looks cool and not toy-ish or like a play gun. It actually looks like someone took an M16 and tried to keep it from looking like a real gun. Not sure how the cops'd like that if they saw it. Hopefully I won't be in any situation where a policeman would see it, 'cause that'd mean I was probly doing something dumb.
.
Keep yo eyes peeled for "Shoutin's to My Homies"

4.20.2006

a pile of quarters lies on my desk

Well, just a quick blog to say: the cupcakes were mmm good. thanks Heather!
.
Ok, off to work on my collection of "sources" for my research paper.
Have fun kids.
Don't hurt yourself.
Be safe.
Stay cool.

alotta stuff's swimming through my head

The lightning is so cool tonight. I just sat in the bed of my truck and watched it after I got home. If you didn't see it, I'm sorry: you missed out.
.
GRR, I really really really dislike my History class. Why does he have to make it so stinkin' difficult and give us all these "outside assignments." Frustrating. He says to, and I quote, "avoid writing and essays like the plague," and yet he gives us stuff in which we have to write. Once again: frustrating. I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't also have two papers to write before the end of the semester for english comp. At least there's only like, 5 days left.
.
Here's what I think I'm pulling in my classes... bullet style ('cause we all know bullets are cool and over-rated):
  • Biology: easy A (no doubts about it)
  • English comp: A, 'cause the teacher's really cool and understands that not evryone is an english major.
  • Philosophy: A, just 'cause the guy's grading scale is so lenient. I already know I'm about second highest in the class... just from what he's said score-wise.
  • History: like I said, I'm not optimistic, but I hope I at least pull a C; but I think a D is a little more realistic.

Ok, I better go. I gotta go to work in the morning; yay-ness. McAlister's is now hiring if anyone's interested. At least one person quit the other day and ppl keep not showing up, so we've pretty much been scrounging for help. I'd feel kinda bad to leave 'em now to work somewhere else being as I'm one of the few that shows up to work. Oh well, I'm not getting a new job right this minute anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter too much.
.
A couple of shout-outs:
.

Heather. I love you. I'd say more, but a there's a place and time for things of that nature, and on the blog ain't it ;P . All I'll say are these almost-inside-joke-type-things-that-are-funny-to-those-who-know-what-I'm-talking-about-(namely you)-but-also-relatively-humorous-in-and-of-themselves (ok, that was rediculous...): "I don't think we're supposed to be here", "What if there are wild animals. Or homeless people. Or mass murderers. Or ppl with chainsaws..."
.
Austin
. Y0u'r3 7h3 m4n. Can't wait til June 'cause that's when you be comin' back. I'll be a-screamin' "Austin in da house!" Keep it cool, dude. I'll give ya a ring first chance I gets. I also gotta get you my new phone #.
.
KP. Don't break your truck again. Keep your eyes peeled for them there back-road trails. We'll have to go fishin' in the crick sometime this summer. Hopefully the pool at your appartment will open soon so we can make more silly pool-videos.
.
Stephen. Just don't hurt yourself, alright? Have fun getting your "trustworthiness" back. Has to stink to have the only night they'd call to have your cell fall out of your pocket. When the airsoft battles roll around... oh, we're gonna get 'em.
.
JEEPERS!
why am I still up? I gotta get in bed.
.
peace, yo. ya feel?
...yeah, that just don't work for me.

4.18.2006

'cause I was told to...

I posted a couple things on my gun xanga Trigg3r H4ppy, so feel free to go over there and check it out (and leave comments *cough cough*). You could also offer questions, thoughts, or suggestions; those can be nice.
.
It's like, 1:30 in the morning, and I gotta be at work at... 8:30? Yeahhh... Tomorrow's going to be fun! NOT. Well, part of tomorrow's going to be fun. I think I'm going to fail World History; if I don't fail I'm getting a D, and if I get better than that: it's a miracle. The teacher is a cool person and all, but he's a horrible teacher. I don't know. I'm mostly confused as to what he really wants us to do, and it's all very frustrating.
.
So I've heard it's a bad idea to go into the archives of someone's blog and start reading. All I can say is: don't worry, anything & evrything back there is the past. But feel free to ask about anything you might read anyway. Don't feel threatened by what you might find or feel like you need to meet up to anything you might read. Just thought I might throw that out there.
.
Oh, and btw & fyi: Loneliest Day by SOAD (System of a Down) is a great song (if maybe slightly depressingish). It's not SOAD at all, but then, it is at the same time. You just gotta hear it.

4.13.2006

here's to you, blonde driver...

Ok, so I'm probly going to get in trouble w/ that title :P but still.
.
Anyway!
.
Tomorrow.... or today, I get to go to work (yay!...?) and then spend all afternoon w/ Heather. Then class, then bored, then Philosophy. Friday I'm headin' up w/ the Schoper's and David to the Opryland Hotel for L2L. Yes cool awesome... except Heather won't be there.
.
I think I might drop by Oh!Bryan's tomorrow if I have time and see about the job potential there. David's also going to look into getting me into Cheeburger, for extra hours over the summer if nothing else. I'd feel kinda bad for leaving McAlister's 'cause I've kinda grown to like that place (in a way), but ya gotta do what you gotta do. We shall see.
.
I finally took the time today to rip all my cds onto my computer, so now I can just put 'em in the playlist, hit shuffle, click play, and *blam* music. Now all I need are some re-writables... and for Steven to give back my Shinedown (Leave a Whisper) cd. I also seem to have misplaced my LP (Meteora) cd, so if I lent that to Steven, he needs to give that back too, but I don't think I did, so it's around somewhere. Who knows.
.
Life's complicated, and my neck hurts... stress: gotta love it.

4.10.2006

can't wait til POTC 2, ya feel?

Cell phones are durable things. It takes many times being dropped off a two-story balcony onto the side walk. Plus many times being thrown into the air to land on the road. Plus being kicked around. Not to mention a couple times being thrown into stone. And that all just to break it into half (flip phone). It took more throwning and kicking and chunking into a brick wall to destroy it further. Not that Kenneth, David, and I would know about that...
...and ppl worry about dropping their phone once.
.
Yesterday I spent pretty much all day w/ Heather. I ended up missing scrapbook ((oops, sorry)) 'cause I was out in Huntsville and there was no way I would have time to make it back to be able to do anything... so I didn't really worry about it. I'll help this week if they have anything last-minute to do. But yeah. After church last night KP and David and I were bored and went over to KP's place and hung out. We were going to listen to a "song" and play HALO, but we ended up watching the last half of Super Troopers, performing the aforementioned cell phone durability test (on KP's old broken phone), and watching the last half of Spiderman. We wanted to go swimming, but the pool was closed... bummer.
.
Well, I'm off to lab (oh joy!...?) and then 'round w/ Heather.
.
Can't wait to get into that Opryland Hotel again... ahh, such a great place. I might want to tell Milner that I can't work Friday. He scheduled me on a day I requested off again. Oh well. I'm going to see if Kyle can't cover for me. I also need to make sure I tell 'em to schedule me some Tues and Thurs mornings, 'cause I need to make up for all the days I've needed off. And I also need the $$. I might almost have to go see about Oh!Bryans 'cause A) I'd be getting payed more, B) it's closer and I'll save gas. The downside is that I'm not sure if I could get the hours I needed, and I'd also have that chance I'd have to work w/ Dale all the time... bleh.
.
Well, I'm off for real this time.
.
btw: cold (refrigerated) coffee is good to drink. mmm.
drink up me hearties, yo ho!

"that's a-ma-za-zing"

Yesterday was fun! Slept late and spent pretty much all my waking hours w/ Heather. Watched Benchwarmers, which was funny if not quite as funny as anticipated. Afterwards we went over to the surplus store (which I just love to wander in) and then over the Commesary (spelling??) so she could get the last couple of things she needed for making dinner. After all that we went to Heather's grandparent's and pretty much hung out/watched movies/stayed in the storm shelter 'cause of the tornados/made & ate dinner. The storms were really bad, like, really. They didn't let me leave and drive home in the weather as bad as it was, so I just camped on the couch. Wasn't a half bad place to sleep... of course I was dead tired and coulda slept comfortably on the tile floor, so it's hard to say how good it actually was. But yeah. Woke up this morning (or was woken up technically) and I really didn't want to get up. My body was like, "no, you need more sleep." Unfortunately I had to go into work. So, mustering what strength I had, I got up and ever-so-slowly (and procrastinatingly) made my way out. But yesterday was really fun. Had a blast. Oh, I can't forget the walking up on the hill thing and taking the M16 along shooting things. That was fun.
.
Bill was not even joking when he said he really needed my help today. I tried to call out of work this morning 'cause I knew I'd be late (and so I could spend more time w/ Heather), but he was like, "Even if you're late, we really need you." We ended up having only four ppl in the kitchen. Optimumally we have at least five. So Beau has to leave 'cause his mom and grandmother keep callin' him to leave 'cause an uncle or something was missing after the storm. Thankfully Kyle came in so we didn't get behind even though it was a rush like, ALL DAY. grrr. Oh well. I had to stay til almost 3:00 (I was supposed to leave at 2:00) 'cause we were so busy, but that's not too bad since I did get to work late. At least I'm getting paid.
.
The storm last night flooded Devin's appartment. Thankfully he hadn't moved in yet and they gave him a new one, so today they moved pretty much evrything into it today. I helped w/ the unloading a bit after I got back from work. After that we came back over here to home and ate. Chris uninstalled a bunch a pre-loaded crap on my compy, and Devin installed WoW (World of Warcraft) to see if it'd work and look good in my computer; which it does. So sometime in the maybe near future, I could be up and running it ((Heather get WoW cough cough it's better than FFXI)).
.
Well, I'm exhausted and I'm out.

4.04.2006

just maybe?

FOR SALE
.
So due to the influx of rather cool airsoft guns, I have decided to attempt to sell some if not all of my old ones.
.
What's "on the market," as it were:
.
"M85"- fashioned after the HK G36 assault rifle. Good condition. Battery powered. Semi/Full/Safe selective fire. Foldable stock. Three mounting rails w/ laser pointer, flashlight, and foregrip attachments. Scope included if desired. Adjustable rear and fixed front sight. Comes w/ one 53 round (approx) mag and charger for the battery. Also has silencer attachment.
.
Single-shot, spring rifle fashioned after the FA-MAS (or FAMAS) assault rifle. Accurate for in its own capacity. Comes w/ attachable/detachable front mounting accesory w/ laser pointer, flashlight and foregrip. Has silencer attachment. Comes w/ a forty-somethin' round mag.
.
Will sell each for $50 or both for $80. (or best offer). Both will come w/ approximately 100 rounds of ammo (bb's). If both are purchased, a speed loader for the magazines will be included along w/ an extra 150 rounds of ammo.
.
Neither have been disassembled or "tampered" with (amazingly enough).
.
If interested or know someone who will be, please contact me. Please also keep in mind that you have to be 18 or older to purchase these originally and I'm not sure of the laws/rules/regulations are on reselling or the age neseccary to own one.
.
Thanks.

my hearts in new market, and no, that doesn't mean it's for sale

So the M16 that I bought from Adam is an actual M16: minus all the guts that make it a real gun of course. Devin identified that for me. Kinda cool actually. This thing's no joke either, but that's neither here nor there.
.
I'm finding it hard to keep a straight and coherent line of thought.
.
I've been to Monte Santo (spelling?) more times in the past week(s) that I ever have in my whole entire life; and in no way is that a bad thing. It's a pretty nice place. I remember a couple things from when I was a little little kid.
.
I have the "Bring out your dead!" part of Monty Python and the Holy Grail stuck in my head.
And All the Small Things by Blink 182.
And the Brittany Spears song that Brad Montegue sings.
And the Wal-Mart dream journal entry of Brad Montetue's.
And Heather.
.
I'm tired, hungry, sleepy, happy, drained, and exhausted.
.
And I'm also running out of things to say.
Well, I guess I'm not really, but trying to A) think of what I have to say and to 2) get out what I have swimmin' 'round up there really isn't feasible in my current mental state.
.
I'm done rambling now.
I'm out

4.02.2006

not posted in forever!

Got a new cell phone the other day. I can take pics now! haha.
.
So I've pretty much been hangin' out w/ Heather the past couple a days. Well, that and working. Tomorrow I'm buying an airsoft gun from Adam (manager @ work). He's been looking to get rid of it apparently and I'm totally willing to buy $400 worth of gun and equip for only $50.
.
Well, I'm off to bed. It's like, 2:00 and I'm DEAD TIRED... 'cause I was up til 3:00 and 4:00 the past couple nights. And I'm hungry... finally. Haven't been hungry for the past two days. I'll eat something tomorrow... if I remember.
.
.
.
Seems like for evry person I make happy, I make another sad. Story of my life I guess.
