stress+more stress= (school+work) - time

Well jeepers and pancakes!

...

It's kinda odd being on me own. Like, I now have my place, not just my room. But pickles and gravy! Evryone wants your money! Paying rent: makes sense and totally expected; paying $30 for a little i-clicker thing to register attendance is dumb. And just two hundred bucks on chem books alone?! I mean, c'mon! And the price of school, the fact they make you pay for the transit system that I don't use 'cause it's out of the way and inconvenient right now. And, of course, it's not enough to charge you for tuition, or number of hours, but each college has to charge their own little fees for each class you take, AND they make you pay not only to apply, but to register AND for the required (so you have to pay for it) orientation thing. Ahhhh Peaches! I know Gus Chiggins would say that I should be more worried about the cyotes' than this, but seriously. I mean, throw me a freakin' bone here.
Oh, and to top all of that off (yes, it gets better...), the GM at this McAlister's is apparently, um... we she's... well. You know... ANYWAY, she has me back down to $6.50/hr: STARTING PAY! GOOD FREAKING GRACIOUS! Does my almost 2 and a half years of working at a McAlister's and the $7.65/hr I was making mean nothing??? General Managers, all they care about is two things: Their tales, and their money. Not a crap else. It irks me so bad. I'm going to try to get another job that will pay me more... then I'll give those people a small piece of my mind. The injustice and inhumanity...

Well, other than all that...

School itself ain't too horrible. Going to be work intensive but not overall very hard. My comp class instructor is a Indian man who has a slight British accent, fun stuff. Hopefully in my chem lab we'll blow stuff up. That'd be wicked awesome. In plant propagation lab I'll be doing stuff in a greenhouse; hands on stuff is fun. Let's see, what else... Oh, my micro econ professor is a blast. Super funny guy. And he didn't require us to buy the book(s) for his class, just to take notes: A+ Super Duper is what that is.

The downside, though, of being down here is I'm alone. I mean, sure there's 26,000-odd student's and there're people in McAlister's that I'm getting acquainted with and whatnot, and I can call/email/IM/whisper in WoW/text people back home at almost anytime, but it's not the same as being able to see evryone at church, or being able to just call someone up and go and hang out for a while. Not only that, I was so used to being able to see Heather almost evry day of the week, so this whole not being able to see her for weeks on end is murder. Not literally, I'm not actually killing people. I don't think I really had to explain that, but for some reason I felt the need to... urrr... anyway....

I can see this is getting long and cumbersome, so I leave this as a good stopping point.

P.S. My doors always open to anyone that wants to come and visit. Once again, not literally, but... you know...

My advice to you would be to climb to the top of Old Boot Hill, then follow the dry creek bed, BUT BE CAREFUL THERE'S QUICKSAND!
